Please try again later. What in the world is going on in this game? I have shrieking sounds coming from all over the place. This is thee most bizarre thing I've ever played. Unfinished product lots of glitched and bugs. The developer flat out said don't even buy the game. Avoid this at all costs. First, yes, there is women in this game, and it isn't true to history. Seriously ask yourself that question, did you buy battlefield 1, 2, 3, 4, and saying "I'm gonna learn today!
If you want solid shooting mechanics, really fun game play, and a really short learning curve to get you in the groove faster when compared to the other Battlefield games, then this game is for you! I honestly thought I would hate this game, the crappy advertising campaign this game got gives it a bad name and talking bad about BFV is what's "in".
But ignore the haters, do your research, and you will find that this Battlefield is indeed the best Battlefield to date. I became addicted within the first 2 hours, and I found my place in this game as a support role machine gunner. I usually rock the medic class but the new mechanics of the support role, made me fall more towards that class. Now, I find myself playing this game over anything else I bought almost every new shooter this season due to its addictive game play.
Usually I have trouble picking up a new battlefield, and this game just fit me, and now I can't stop thinking about it and playing it. So let's talk about the negatives. I have a monster PC Ryzen 7 and a ti and I am sad to say that I need to lower my setting to achieve a fps above , which I did not have to do on BF1. It looks a little better than BF1 but not by much which, to me, does not make sense on why this game requires more muscle from my PC.
There only 8 maps released I played all the maps within 4 hours, and pretty much memorized all the good spots. Hence the "honeymoon" phase ended quickly, and now entering a map seems old. I know more content will be released, but the game does feel incomplete, considering that every time I play it I want more due to it's addictive game play. Are these negatives enough for me to remove a star? Lowering the settings, I noticed no real noticeable difference in it's overall graphical look and even though the maps seem old to me now I still jump in to play and lead newer players in my group to the best spots.
In conclusion, I wanted to jump on the hate bandwagon of this game, but before I do I wanted to play it to see how bad it could be. The media could not be loaded. By Michael on November 24, Battlefield stands as one of the greatest games ever made, so I had high hopes for the franchise returning to its roots and hoping EA had learned their lessons from the Battlefront II fiasco.
I was sorely disappointed in how heavily progression based this game is for your loadout. I started playing a few weeks after release and the game was unplayable, everyone else was geared to the teeth and killing me with 2 shots. I could have used real money to purchase better options, but frankly I am done with this style of game progression. This latest iteration of BF is not the best one. The maps have little cover and are rather dull, there is not much team balancing, too much political correctness.
Weapons and customization are shallow. Game modes are either what we have seen or gimmicks, not practical. Example, Breakthrough, apparently lasts many days but who is around to know who will win many days from now? PC games are an expensive hobby. Ultimately, there are no bad maps in Battlefield 5: just a few mediocre ones. Squads are more important than ever in Battlefield 5. This is a lot slower than when a medic does it, but still fairly invaluable in the final stages of a match.
It also encourages squads to stay close together, as tempting as it might be to run off and test out your new sniper rifle. You can still leave your assigned squad and play as a lone wolf, but the game actively discourages it. Another benefit of working in a team is that, when enough points are accumulated, the leader can call in a so-called Squad Reinforcement. These range from a fire-spewing tank to, best of all, a devastating rocket that can absolutely flatten a control point, killing anyone in the blast radius.
You can see the explosion from way across the map, and pushing in with your fellow soldiers to take a point after a rocket drops on it is always a thrilling moment. Each day is heavily objective-based, with teams attacking or defending key structures including giant artillery guns that players can operate. Essentially playing out like the tense final minutes of a game of Fortnite or PUBG, respawns are disabled and surviving players are gradually pushed together by a shrinking play space.
War Stories is a series of solo missions with lavish production values and melodramatic cutscenes, set in lesser-known corners of World War II. Nordlys, set during the German occupation of Norway, is the best, following a resistance fighter as she fights behind enemy lines.
